Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with at least 2 years of current ER experience and KY or compact state RN licensure.

Details

• Position located in a hospital Emergency Room setting
• Patient population includes a variety of acute and urgent cases typical to an ER
• 36/48 hour weekly rotation schedule with 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Orientation provided bi-weekly
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered

Requirements

• Active KY or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of current ER RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC, PALS, and CPI
• Completion of Nursys license verification within 30 days of start
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive emergency patient assessment and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Provide care for patients with diverse acute and trauma-related emergencies
• Teamwork and coordination with multidisciplinary staff required
• Holiday and weekend shifts may be required as part of schedule
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
