Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and strong EKG interpretation skills.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts each week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) required as needed
• Every third weekend is required for scheduling
• Assignment length is 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum of two years of RN experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• CVICU experience required if first-time traveler

Additional Information

• Provides care for critical cardiovascular patients in a team environment
• First-time travelers with prior CVICU experience are welcome to apply
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted
• Every third weekend and floating to CCU are mandatory components of the role
