American Traveler is seeking a BSN-prepared RN for a dedicated Pediatric Home Health position caring for trach and vent patients during night shifts.

Details

• Work in Pediatric Home Health providing care in patient homes rather than at a facility
• Patient population consists primarily of pediatric patients with tracheostomies and ventilators
• Assignment involves one visit per shift, with shifts dedicated to a single home
• Patients may have developmental delays or medical complexity
• Night shift schedule is three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Travel required to patient homes up to 1 hour from the main facility

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• BSN degree required
• Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 6 months experience in home health, acute care, PICU, pediatrics, medical/surgical, geriatric, CCU, obstetrics, or DODD required
• PICU experience required
• Experience in pediatrics or working with individuals with developmental delays preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office or similar software required

Additional Information

• Care for technology-dependent children in a home setting
• Strong communication skills required for working with families and healthcare teams
• Prior experience managing medically complex, technology-dependent patients is preferred
• Night shift only position
