American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg night shift position requiring an IL RN license and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Work in a hospital Neuro Med/Surg unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Care for neurological patient population
• Epic EMR experience required
• No floating or on-call information provided

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or temporary license accepted
• Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, developing and implementing care plans, and adjusting care based on ongoing evaluation
• Must maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participation in unit and institutional safety practices is required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract
• Travelers may not remain on assignment continuously for more than one year; a six-month break is required before returning
• No travel partners accepted for this position
