American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Behavioral Health position with experience caring for children, adolescents, and adults and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Work in a Behavioral Health unit caring for children, adolescents, and adults
• Patient ratios are 1:7 on days and weekends, and 1:10 on nights
• Shifts are 3x12 hour nights from 19:00 to 07:30
• Weekend shifts are required
• Uses EPIC EMR system and experience is required
• Team support includes shift supervisor, CNO, nurse manager onsite, and someone on call

Requirements

• Active RN license in MD or compact state
• Current BLS certification is required
• At least 1.5-2 years recent psychiatric or behavioral health RN experience required
• Experience with adolescent and child psych patients preferred; if lacking, must have two years of psych experience and travel experience
• Must be open to working with all patient age groups

Additional Information

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Strong preference for candidates with adolescent and child psych experience
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible at a reduced rate
• Two professional references are required for consideration
