American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse with CA licensure for a Med/Surg Tele position specializing in transplant and complex gastrointestinal care.

Details

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital
• Cares for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases, including transplant recipients
• Manages complex gastrointestinal cases and serves as the med-surg/tele overflow unit
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Works every other weekend
• Floating to other units as needed

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• Specific experience with liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant patients required

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
• Returning travelers must have been away from the facility for at least one year
• Only one holiday time off request will be approved per assignment
• Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of accepting an assignment is required
