American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level IV NICU position requiring advanced neonatal care skills and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Work in a Level IV NICU at a pediatric medical and surgical center
• 26-bed NICU providing care for critically ill newborns and infants with complex medical and surgical needs
• Day and evening 12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm, Monday through Friday
• Required to work 2-3 weekends in a 6-week schedule period
• Assignment may be up to 26 weeks
• Care involves post-operative patients, g-tube, trach and vent management, and various modes of ventilation
• Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the past year
• Floating required; traveler is first to float and may be reassigned to other units or locations as needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS (AHA only) and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years total NICU III/IV experience, with at least 1 year in Level IV NICU
• Experience caring for post-op neonatal patients and managing advanced respiratory support
• Basic arrhythmia and telemetry experience required; must pass telemetry test prior to start
• Epic EMR charting experience required

• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for critically ill neonates and families from admission to discharge
• Team-focused, patient- and family-centered approach in a Magnet-designated hospital
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Permit required for onsite parking; alternative transportation options available
• Travelers may be scheduled in multiple units or at different locations within the organization
