Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need position in an outpatient advanced care clinic setting, requiring an active GA or compact RN license and experience with higher acuity cases.

Details

• Work in an advanced care center with urgent care and a critical decision unit
• Care for patients with higher acuity and provide overnight observation as needed
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Saturday
• Weekend and holiday shifts are included in the schedule
• Utilizes the Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• All required certifications must be current at the time of consideration
• Experience in a higher acuity outpatient or urgent care setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is required
• Last four digits of SSN and date of birth are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and evaluate patient care in a critical care environment
• May provide observation care for overnight patients with urgent needs
• Must be able to work assigned holidays as part of the schedule
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Contingent assignments may not exceed two years within the health system without a 90-day break
