American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in an adult Level 1 trauma setting, requiring an IN or compact license and AHA certifications.

Details

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital
• Level 1 Trauma Center with an adult patient population
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend is required

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience
• Current American Heart Association certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required and must be up to date
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. address required

Additional Information

• Responsible for direct nursing care, patient care plan implementation, and monitoring patient condition
• Coordinate care across disciplines and manage discharge planning
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training is preferred and may be updated every 2 years
• Holiday coverage may be required based on schedule
• Local candidates are accepted but will be offered a reduced rate based on the facility’s radius rule
