American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac ICU position in a Level 1 trauma hospital, requiring a KS or compact RN license and Cerner EHR experience.

Details

• Work in a 20-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Level 1 trauma environment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30 with every other weekend required
• No on-call duties
• Utilizes Cerner OneChart EHR; prior Cerner experience required
• Ceil blue scrubs are required

Requirements

• Active KS or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS, both must be from AHA
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course must be completed online prior to start
• Completion of MOAB Managing Physical Confrontations Course on site during orientation
• Nursys verification and license primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must have a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Position involves caring for critically ill cardiac ICU patients
• On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training will be completed during orientation
• All Ascension health system roles apply a radius rule for local candidates, which may impact pay rates
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required for this role
• Only one application to an Ascension position system-wide is allowed
• Holiday coverage will be required according to unit policy
