Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in a 100-bed LTAC setting, requiring a compact or MS RN license and at least two years of relevant experience.

Details

• Work in a 100-bed Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility focusing on geriatric, short-term, and post-acute trach patients
• 12-hour day shifts with schedules including Monday, Thursday, Friday and Tuesday or Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:20 with nurse practitioner support available weekdays
• Ancillary assistance is provided with 9 support staff during days and 7 during nights

Requirements

• Active compact or Mississippi RN license required
• Minimum two years of LTAC experience required
• Prior travel experience required, but strong first-time travelers may be considered
• Experience in a facility with 400+ beds or level 2 trauma experience is strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for geriatric and post-acute patients including those with tracheostomies
• Team structure includes nurse practitioners and ancillary staff support
