American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Coronary Care Unit night shift position requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Coronary Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Care for cardiac critical care patient population
• Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Travelers are not allowed to work as a pair

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Coronary Care or related ICU specialty
• Certifications from AHA or RQI, including BLS and ACLS
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted

Additional Information

• Competency testing for ICU nursing must be passed within two attempts
• Medical exemption for flu vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions not accepted
• RTO must be requested at the time of application
• Local candidates are not eligible if residing in specified counties within a 50-mile radius
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within six weeks
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
