American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Off-Shift Patient Care Manager role in an acute care setting requiring a NY RN license and strong conflict resolution skills.

Details

• Position serves as Off-Shift Patient Care Manager (House Supervisor) in an acute care environment
• Night shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with 8-hour shift length
• Role supports staff across multiple units without direct reports
• Uses Allscripts EMR system

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong skills in conflict resolution and mediation
• Ability to quickly identify and address operational and clinical issues
• Working knowledge of nursing practice standards and collective bargaining agreements

Additional Information

• Provides support to nursing and ancillary staff during off-shift hours
• No direct supervisory responsibilities but expected to address and resolve staff and patient issues as they arise
• No BSN required for consideration
• Initial orientation not provided
• Must be familiar with Allscripts or able to learn quickly
