American Traveler is seeking an experienced SICU RN with an active IL license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications for night shifts at a Level I trauma center.

Details

• Work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) of an acute care hospital
• Level I trauma center and Magnet-designated facility
• Night shifts with options for 4x12 or 3x12 hour schedules (18:45 - 07:15)
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating to other ICUs within scope as needed
• EMR system: Cerner

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year of SICU RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Teamwork emphasized within a large, high-acuity ICU environment
• Discuss block scheduling requests with the manager
• Any solid color scrubs permitted
• No radius restriction for local candidates
• Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved
• Free parking permit provided during orientation
