Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced SICU RN with an active IL license to work nights at a Level I trauma center.

Details

• Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) within an acute care hospital
• Level I trauma center and Magnet designated facility
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week (18:45-07:15)
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required within scope, primarily to other ICUs as needed
• Cerner charting system used
• No radius restriction for local candidates

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in hand required
• Minimum 1 year of SICU RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• First-time travelers not accepted

Additional Information

• Must wear any solid color scrubs
• Parking permit provided at no cost and arranged during orientation
• Block scheduling requests may be discussed with manager
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is preferred
• Part of a large team in a 562-bed hospital
