Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring recent Level 1 and multi-specialty OR experience and a valid KY or compact license.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room setting of a hospital
• Assignment includes exposure to Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS procedures
• Scheduled day shifts: four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 to 17:30
• Rotating weekday and weekend on-call requirements with a 40-minute response time
• Staff will be expected to work across a variety of surgical specialties

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma OR experience highly desired
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS procedures required
• No licensure hits accepted

Additional Information

• Must provide two supervisor references from the last three years of employment
• Return permanent staff must have a six month separation before returning as a traveler
• All requests for time off must be disclosed at the time of application; additional requests will not be approved
• Permanent residence within 100 miles of the facility is not accepted
