Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with both circulating and scrub experience and strong general OR skills for a mid-shift position with weekend and on-call requirements.

Details

• Work in a hospital Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Position covers multiple service lines, including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery
• Mid-shift hours are 4x10s, 13:00-23:30, with flexibility to start earlier if needed
• Weekend requirement includes one weekend per month with associated on-call duties
• 10-15 on-call shifts per contract, distributed equally among staff, with weekday on-call from end of shift to 6:30 am and 24-hour call on weekends
• Floating required within the specialty and to general OR as necessary
• Surgical/sterile scrubs are provided to be donned at the facility

Requirements

• Active RN MD or compact license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• 3-5 years of recent CVOR and OR experience required; strong circulate and scrub experience is mandatory
• Consideration given to first-time travelers with robust circulating and scrub experience across multiple service lines

Additional Information

• Must provide both circulating and scrub functions in the CVOR
• Holiday coverage is required if scheduled during assignment
• Team members share on-call shifts evenly
• Sterile scrubs provided at the start and end of each shift
