Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) day shift position requiring Epic experience and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU (TCV ICU) within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes individuals undergoing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures such as CABG, valve or heart/lung transplantation
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:00) available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must adhere to hospital float policy

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license; will consider license pending at time of offer
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
• Must provide copies of required certifications, driver’s license, and Social Security card

Additional Information

• Care for patients recovering from complex cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
• Up to 40 hours of requested time off may be granted during the contract
• No block scheduling is available
• No radius rule; local candidates are accepted
• At least 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler to this health system
• Role may involve floating in accordance with clinical experience
• Holiday coverage is expected as part of the scheduling rotation
