Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Minnesota, requiring a MN RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Position is in the ICU and Special Care Unit, with floating to MedSurg as needed
• Work may be scheduled on day, evening, or night shifts; all shifts are 8 hours
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Schedules may vary based on department needs and shift openings
• Travelers may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Epic/Excellian EMR is used; experience may be required for some positions

Requirements

• Active MN RN license or proof of pending licensure at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum one year of ICU or specialty experience required
• PALS certification preferred
• IV start skills preferred
• At least one supervisor reference required for consideration
• Epic/Excellian EMR experience required for some positions
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Returning staff must have a 3-month gap from last perm shift

Additional Information

• Role includes care for both ICU and MedSurg patients depending on facility needs
• Position accepts first-time travelers
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility
• Requested time off ideally should not exceed 5 days during assignment
• Completion of pre-start modules is required prior to beginning the assignment
