Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Rehab RN for a hospital rehabilitation unit with a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule and a valid KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Rehabilitation Unit with a focus on Med Surg and rehab patient populations
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:6
• Rotating weekly schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• Use of Meditech EMR system
• Floating required during periods of low census

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent acute Med Surg/Rehab nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientation sessions are provided
• RNs are expected to participate in interdisciplinary rehab care
• Scrubs or dress code details are not specified
