Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nurse Navigator RN with a DC license and 3 years of nursing experience for a day shift position in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Details

• Ambulatory clinic environment with a focus on cardiology
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays required
• Option to work either 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts
• Patient navigation and coordination within the clinic
• Responsibilities include chart preparation, disability forms, telephone triage, and follow up phone calls

Requirements

• Active DC RN license at time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
• Ambulatory clinic experience is preferred
• Strong assessment, medication administration, cardiovascular, and laboratory interpretation skills

Additional Information

• Experience in cardiology and family care clinic settings is preferred
• Must wear cranberry or wine color scrubs
• Flu vaccination required for all employees
