American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse Case Manager with an active OR RN license, Epic experience, and inpatient case management background.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital case management unit
• Work schedule is four 10-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Variable schedule with weekend rotations; full weekend coverage required every third weekend
• Responsibilities include discharge planning and long-stay management
• Floating may be required to nearby affiliate hospitals

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing required
• Minimum one year inpatient case management experience required
• At least two years of overall nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Two recent supervisor or manager references required within the last 24 months, with possible consideration of references up to five years old if unable to fulfill primary requirement
• COVID-19 vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Analyze medical records for quality assessment and discharge planning
• Coordinate discharge plans including community service transitions and post-acute care
• Document and provide clinical information for insurance authorizations
• Role requires strong problem-solving, multitasking, and ability to work independently
• Business casual attire or scrubs allowed
• Return candidates must not have worked as a traveler at the facility within the last six months
• No mileage radius restrictions; local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and is limited to two weeks
