Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Transitional Care Unit long-term care position requiring EKG testing, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Transitional Care Unit within a long-term care setting
• Patient ratio of 1:7-8
• Requires floating to other units as needed
• EKG testing must be passed before starting
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 to 19:30
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or two times per month

Requirements

• Active RN license from TN or a compact state
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date
• Relevant experience in med/surg or long-term care nursing

Additional Information

• Holiday or holiday week time off requests will not be accommodated
• Requests for time off during holidays can only be submitted onsite with management approval
• Orientation provided bi-weekly prior to assignment start
• All travelers must be able to fulfill assigned weekend and floating requirements
