Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a dayshift position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and expertise in diverse surgical procedures.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Wide range of general and specialty surgeries including bariatric, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, urology, endoscopic, and robotic cases
• EMR utilized is Epic with Epic experience preferred
• Patient population includes adults undergoing routine and complex surgical interventions
• Scrubs are provided for staff

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience is required; 1-2 years preferred
• Skills in a variety of surgical specialties such as general, bariatric, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, urology, robotic, and endoscopic procedures
• Epic charting experience is preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• No travel pairs or groups are permitted
• Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Former permanent staff must have at least a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
