Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Illinois requiring at least 2 years of recent experience and active IL RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a hospital Gastroenterology/Endoscopy Lab setting
• 8-hour variable day shifts
• Includes evening, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation
• On-call required for up to 2 weekends per month

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with ADN required, BSN preferred
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS

Additional Information

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and standards
• Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations for GI/Endoscopy patients
• Document care according to standards of practice
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Mentor and precept new staff members
• Support ongoing personal and professional development
• COVID-19 vaccination required
