Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with an active AK RN license and Epic proficiency for a hospital-based role with weekend and floating requirements.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital case management unit
• Day shift position with schedules between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Shifts are 5x8 hours per week
• Weekend coverage required, either every other weekend or 4 weekend days within a 4-week period
• Floating between facilities within the state is expected
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR is used, and experience with Epic is required
• Hospital is a Magnet-designated facility and Level II Trauma Center
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free parking is available on site

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN license required upon start
• BLS certification required
• ACM certification preferred
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent employees must have a minimum 3-month gap before returning as travelers

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive case management for acute care patients
• Must be willing to float between facilities as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• A maximum of one approved time off request (up to 5 days) is allowed per 13-week assignment, with no holiday time off for Auto Offer roles
• Holiday time off is not permitted for Auto Offer assignments
• References must include two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a relevant setting
