American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager with acute care and Epic experience for a day shift position in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license.

Details

• Position is in an acute care hospital setting
• Case Manager unit working with a variety of acute care patient cases
• Magnet facility and Level II Trauma center
• Shifts are 5x8 hours, days, with start times between 0700 and 0830
• Weekend work required: every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4 week schedule
• Floating between facilities within the state is required
• No on-call requirement
• Epic EMR is used on the unit

Requirements

• Active AK RN license in hand required for consideration
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• ACM certification is preferred
• Must meet 50-mile radius rule; locals not accepted

Additional Information

• Case Managers will coordinate care planning and discharge processes for acute care patients
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free parking is available
• Only one time-off request of 5 days or less allowed during a 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO for auto offer
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers only after a 3-month separation and must live more than 50 miles from facility
• All travelers are expected to float as needed to cover other facilities within the state
