Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Adult Outpatient Surgery position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and on-call flexibility.

Details

• Position is in the Adult Outpatient Surgery department of a hospital
• Patient care involves a variety of surgical procedures for adult patients
• Work schedule is 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 0530 to 1600
• On-call required 1-3 nights per month from 1900-0700 and one weekend day from 0700-0700

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or a current compact multistate RN license (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive nursing care for adult surgical patients, including patient assessment, documentation, medication administration, and post-procedure monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to support patient care and recovery
• Must be able to coordinate, plan, and evaluate individualized patient care
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
