American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg night shift position requiring IL state licensure, EPIC experience, and Level 1 Trauma exposure.

Details

• Work in the Neuro unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Care provided to neuro-medical/surgical patient population
• Use of EPIC EMR system required

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• Minimum of one year relevant nursing experience required, three years preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association) required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, developing and evaluating care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation
• Must participate in team communication and contribute to a professional work environment
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks with a maximum of 7 days RTO allowed
• Compliance with all department competencies is expected
• A break of 6 months is required for returning staff after 1 year of continuous employment
• Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment
