Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite position requiring a NH or compact RN license and ONS Chemo/Bio card.

Details

• Work in a Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite within a hospital setting
• 30 bed/chair unit with approximately 70 patients seen per day
• Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other non-chemotherapy medications
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• ONS Chemo/Bio card required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience required within the last 2 years
• No local candidates; must live at least 75 miles away from the facility

Additional Information

• Position involves frequent patient assessment, education, side effect management, monitoring, and providing emotional support
• IV skills, mediport access experience, and pediatric hem/onc experience are preferred but not required
• Must ensure licensure remains active for the duration of the assignment
