Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for night shifts in a busy 28-bed ER requiring a current HI RN license and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 28-bed hospital Emergency Department with 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly) after the first week of orientation
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with rapid patient turnover
• Initial week of orientation before starting regular schedule

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license must be in hand by assignment start
• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS
• Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to start of assignment

Additional Information

• All travelers must arrive in Hawaii by Thursday prior to a Monday start to report to Employee Health Friday morning
• Strong ability to adapt to a fast-moving, team-oriented environment is important
• ER caseload includes trauma, cardiac, and behavioral health patients
• Thorough orientation provided during initial week
