American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN with a GA or compact license and chemo administration certification for an outpatient infusion center assignment.

Details

• Outpatient oncology infusion center setting
• Oncology and hematology patient population with high acuity
• Responsible for chemotherapy and some hematology treatment administration
• Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM schedule
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS required
• Chemo certification required
• Chemo administration experience required
• No candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and hematology treatments in a fast-paced clinic
• Must request all required time off (RTO) up front during the application process
• Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be communicated prior to assignment start
• First-time travelers may be considered
