Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current HI license and strong critical care background for a varied shift assignment.

Details

• Work in an 11-bed Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population consists of critically ill adults requiring intensive monitoring and support
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1
• Requires flexibility to work day or night shifts based on department needs
• Scheduled for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week following orientation
• Two twelve-hour on-call shifts required every four weeks
• May float to other critical care and step-down units as needed
• Uses Meditech EMR

Requirements

• Active and current HI RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum of 3 years recent ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (can be completed online as part of orientation)

Additional Information

• Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to starting assignment
• One week of orientation provided, up to 40 hours
• Professional scrubs required for dress code
• Plan to be in Hawaii early to complete pre-employment health appointments before assignment begins
