American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Apheresis position requiring Epic experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in a blood center performing therapeutic apheresis procedures
• Procedures are performed both inpatient at acute care facilities and outpatient in the pediatric clinic
• Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call required each evening after 4:30 PM and 24-hour call on weekends, cycling from Friday evening through the following Friday morning
• Epic EMR used; prior experience required
• Floating to other sister campuses is required and travelers are first to float

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license with DL address matching address on BON
• Minimum 2 years of apheresis experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Radius restriction: must live more than 50 miles from the facility and not own or cosign property within the radius
• Detailed and current work history required for consideration

Additional Information

• Expect to handle both pediatric and adult patients during apheresis procedures
• Orientation begins on Friday with remote participation and badge pickup onsite
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after submission
• Team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on culture and integrating travelers as core staff
• Scrub dress code not specified; confirm specifics if needed
• First time travelers will be considered
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date
