American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an EP Lab position requiring strong electrophysiology experience and advanced cardiac procedure skills.

Details

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital EP Lab setting
• Responsible for ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants, EP studies, and LAAO procedures
• Daily caseload averages 4-8 electrophysiology procedures
• Use and knowledge of GE CardioLab, EPIC, Carto, Navx, Cryo, Biosense Webster Mapping, and Bloom/Micropace stimulators
• Requires circulating, monitoring, scrubbing, and conscious sedation skills
• Day shifts with 4x10 hour schedule, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm
• Scrubs are provided

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of EP Lab experience required
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• Ability to circulate, scrub, and perform conscious sedation independently
• Experience with stimulator operation for intra-cardiac pacing protocols and conduction intervals preferred
• No local candidates considered; must reside outside a 75-mile radius

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted in this unit
• Work alongside a team with 2 EP rooms and 3 EP providers
• RTO limited to 7 days for the contract term; no RTO allowed during first week of orientation
• Permanent former employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travel assignments may last up to 18 months with a required 3-month break after 18 months
