American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a current IA or compact state RN license and weekend night availability.

Details

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Role involves care for laboring and postpartum women, as well as newborns
• Weekend night shift assignment
• Assignment duration is 12 weeks

Requirements

• Active IA or compact state RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
• Current AHA Heart Code BLS required (or obtained within 3 months of hire)
• ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required (obtain per facility policy)
• Strong technical and critical thinking nursing skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work collaboratively within a team
• Basic computer knowledge

• Daily responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring continuity of care
• Must be able to direct support staff and provide holistic care using evidence-based nursing principles
• Empathetic listening, tact, and kindness toward patients and colleagues are essential
