American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Pediatric OR position, requiring 1.5+ years of experience and an active NJ or compact license.

Details

• Work in a Pediatric Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Night shifts with a rotation of 2x12 (7:00 pm-7:30 am) and 2x8 (11:00 pm-7:30 am), including 12 hour shifts on two out of every three weekends
• Cases include general surgery, urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, advanced ENT, and spine procedures
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Uses Epic for charting
• No on-call responsibility
• Scrubs are provided

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1.5 years of Pediatric OR nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• PALS and CNOR certifications preferred
• Prior experience with Epic EMR preferred

Additional Information

• Must be able to fulfill both scrub and circulating nurse responsibilities during surgical procedures
• Previous or current RWJBH staff (full time or PRN) must be separated for at least 1 year before eligible for assignment
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Block scheduling requests must be submitted and approved in advance
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be confirmed and approved prior to assignment
• Background or license hits are not accepted
