American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Med/Surg Tele role in an LTAC setting, requiring a SC or compact RN license and strong tele experience.

Details

• Work in an LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00), three shifts per week
• Patient ratio is typically 1:6
• Must staff weekends as needed
• On-call required, either 2 on-call or 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks
• Floating may be required to lower level of care units based on staffing needs
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required (pending license accepted with proof prior to start)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation
• Must be able to shave if required for onsite fit testing

• A 75-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not accepted
• Attendance policy in effect: more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in review for cancellation
