Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of experience, Texas or compact RN license, and strong Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology (IR) skills.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Day shifts from 06:30 to 15:00 with a flexible schedule
• Care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Requires floating between two hospital locations
• Uses the Epic EMR system with facility-specific requirements
• Rotating on-call required, including 12-15 days per week and every other weekend
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include monitoring patients during catheterization procedures and providing high-acuity cardiac care
• Scrubs of any color may be worn or are provided by the hospital
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Holiday coverage and rotating call shifts required as needed by unit
• Local candidates are accepted with the same rate as travelers
