American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics unit providing care to adult surgical patients with telemetry capabilities.

Details

• Work in a 28-bed acute Med/Surg Orthopedics unit serving adult general orthopedic surgical patients
• Unit has telemetry monitoring capability with availability of virtual sitter monitoring and monitor tech support
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5-6
• Unit team includes PCTs and a healthcare unit coordinator
• Night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or orthopedic nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Must provide US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, including the use of telemetry when indicated
• Assist with discharge planning alongside healthcare team members
• Support available from PCTs, monitor techs, and a healthcare unit coordinator
• All positions are auto offer
• COVID vaccination is not required
