American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a mids shift position in Alabama, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent ED experience.

Details

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Work schedule is 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Contract length is 13 weeks
• Patients present with a wide range of acute conditions and emergencies
• Meditech is the EMR used at this facility

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No current or past license disciplinary actions permitted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to successfully complete on-site and online pre-employment testing
• Submission must include current driver's license and license verification

Additional Information

• All Emergency Department RNs must complete an on-site test and an online pre-test as part of orientation
• Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules; no HealthStream modules required before start
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates as travelers, with no distance restrictions
• Standard hospital dress code applies for the Emergency Department
