Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry night shift position requiring a MI license and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Telemetry short stay unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population consists of cardiac telemetry cases
• Night shift schedule with hours from 18:00 to 06:00, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units as needed
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Use of Cerner Powerchart for documentation

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license for MI required, or proof of application within 24 hours of offer
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cerner Powerchart EMR experience preferred
• Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Information

• Caribbean Blue scrubs are required
• Must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years for consideration
• Must be prepared to explain any employment gaps from the past 7 years
• Holiday coverage required for 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment
