Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Wound Care position, requiring a GA or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Wound Care unit within a hospital setting
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No call requirements
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Locals are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• At least 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Two supervisory references (manager or above) required
• Must be fully compliant prior to assignment start date

Additional Information

• Responsible for wound care management and coordination within the unit
• Must be willing to float within the facility as needed
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• If one major holiday falls during assignment, must work it; if two, must work both; if three, must work two
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed; no time off allowed during the first week
• Must be away for 1 full year from all facility locations to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift or unit
• Compliance with bi-weekly orientation schedule is required
