American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg and skilled nursing night shift position in California, requiring an active CA license and pediatric care experience.

Details

• Hospital-based position with a focus on both Med/Surg Adult and Med/Surg Pediatrics units
• Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Floating required to the Skilled Nursing Department
• Will care for non-critical pediatric patients
• Uses Cerner EMR, prior Cerner experience is required

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience
• Current certifications: ACLS and PALS
• Experience caring for non-critical pediatric patients
• Cerner EMR experience is a must

Additional Information

• Must be familiar with National Patient Safety Goals including alarm management, use of restraints, infection prevention, and patient identification
• Hospital orientation is fully compensated
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
• Local candidates are accepted as there is no radius rule listed
• May be called off up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract based on census needs
