Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position in a 12-bed Cardiac Care Unit requiring a MD or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent CCU/ICU experience.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) of a hospital setting
• Provides care for patients with acute myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, post-infarction angina, and congestive heart failure
• Rotating 12-hour shifts with alternating day and night coverage (7A-7P)
• Floating to similar skill set areas as needed

Requirements

• Active MD or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CCU or ICU experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience in facilities with at least 500+ bed count required
• Preferred: Critical Care Certification, trauma course, ACLS certification, and Epic EMR experience

Additional Information

• Deliver critical care nursing to cardiac patients with complex needs
• Must be prepared to provide high acuity care in an intensive team-based environment
• Both local and travel candidates will be considered at the same rate
• Professional attire or unit-required scrubs as directed
