American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Step Down or Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring a WI or compact RN license and 2 years of acute care experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting providing care on a Med Surg or Stepdown/Telemetry unit
• Patients include those requiring stepdown or telemetry-level care
• Shift is 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Travelers may be assigned to units with the highest need based on skillset, including PCU, Med/Surg, or Telemetry
• Floating may be required both onsite within your skill set and to affiliated sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification within 30 days before start
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number and permanent U.S. address required
• Copies of two professional references and driver’s license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travelers must float to different units or affiliated sites within 40 miles based on staffing needs
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate determined by facility radius rules
