Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift contract requiring NRP, BLS, ACLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring, and a VT or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
• Care for laboring mothers and newborns in both the delivery room and operating room
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
• EMR and additional technology details may be discussed during orientation

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license is required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications required
• Experience caring for newborns at delivery, in the delivery room, and in the OR is preferred
• Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

• Biweekly orientation sessions are provided
• Schedule requests are approved at the manager’s discretion
• Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment
• Candidates are encouraged to have their own vehicle due to limited public transportation options
