Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position requiring Louisiana or compact RN licensure and a minimum of three years of CVOR circulator experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital setting
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM
• Serves predominantly cardiovascular surgical cases with possible assignments in robotics, general, and other surgical service lines when cardiac cases are unavailable
• On-call requirements are part of the assignment
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Floating to other OR service lines as needed

Requirements

• Active Louisiana or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum three years of recent cardiovascular OR circulator experience required
• Proficiency in cardiovascular procedures required
• Experience working with Epic EMR is required
• Must be able to work in robotics and general surgery service lines as needed
• AHA certifications required
• Candidates must live 65+ miles from the facility
• Unit does not accept first-time travelers

Additional Information

• Must comply with emergency staffing expectations, including staying at the facility during declared emergency events or as relief team per unit manager assignments
• Scrub and dress code requirements as per hospital policies
• All time off requests must be included and discussed during the interview
• Assignment length is 12 weeks
