American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Orthopedics Med/Surg position requiring ortho and tele/acute care experience, with floating to nearby facilities.

Details

• Position is on an Orthopedic unit in a hospital setting
• Short term acute care facility with teaching environment
• Patient population includes post-surgical and orthopedic cases
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 to 19:15
• Requires floating within scope to three nearby hospitals within 20 miles
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active FL or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 18 months recent tele/acute care experience
• 2-3 years of orthopedic experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Must be nicotine free and able to pass a nicotine (cotinine) screen and 10-panel drug screen

• All requested time off must be declared at time of application; additional RTO may not be approved
• Assignments at any facility location are limited to 18 consecutive months with a 6-month break required before reapplying
