American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift position in a Level III Trauma teaching hospital with Epic EMR experience required.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a short-term acute care hospital
• Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6
• Level III Trauma Center with a diverse emergency caseload
• Night shifts are required (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00)
• Weekend shifts are required every other weekend
• Floating may be required within hospital or to sister campuses
• Uses Epic EMR for all charting

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB documentation required for consideration
• Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Return staff must have been gone at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
• Travelers may extend only once before needing a 6-month break, with different rules for shift type
• RTO is restricted to a maximum of 4 days unless otherwise stated
• Only one holiday off can be approved during the contract
• Royal blue and white scrubs are required
• Pre-start online modules are required for onboarding (4-10 hours)
